CBD is legal across the country, but only when there's a small amount of THC in it. This company took all the traces of THC out of their CBD. They call it "help without the high".
Gummies, lotion, bath-bombs and honey. It's an assortment of products with CBD oil.
"They gave a sample of the cream and my neck was really hurting that night," Mary Jane Tennant, a customer said. "He put some on my neck and some between my shoulder blades and it really worked quick."
Mary Jane is buying CBD oil for the first time.
"I have researched a lot about this. I have a lot of chronic pain with arthritis and fibromyalgia and insomnia as well."
Studies show CBD oil removes inflammation from the body. People use it to treat other illnesses like epilepsy, anxiety and schizophrenia.
Mary Jane says she's seen doctors and taken antibiotics, but now she may not have to.
"I'm a registered nurse. There is no way I would take this if it would harm me. I have a really hard time with it. I'm excited to try it tonight I hope I get good sleep."
She's not the only one.
"We get a lot of people who are actually prescribed opioids and those are a very effective drug," Jim Olson,, the store owner said. "Unfortunately, there's a myriad of other side affects to that."
Opioids were involved in over two-thirds of overdose deaths in 2017.
"When they're prescribed it and utilize it, for many people, they have to continue taking more and more because they reach a threshold with it. And that's when the drug becomes dangerous for a lot of people because they can become physically psychologically addicted to that."
The store owners, Mary and Jim say CBD oil increases the efficacy of prescription drugs.
"What the CBD will allow them to do is to decrease that dosage so that they can try to lean themselves off of it."
Medical physicians say that just like with any kind of heath issue, you should consult your doctor.
